About Us

Hearts & Horizons is a collaboration of work by Emmy Award winning Photographer James H Egbert and his Fiance' Reji Li who is beginning her journey in Fine Art Nature Photography. James is a US Navy Veteran and Colorado Native and Reji Li is a US Citizen from Cebu, Philippines and a Colorado Resident since 2007. James began his photographic work in his early life and has been working professionally since 1993 as both a Landscape Photographer and Photojournalist in Print and Broadcasting.

To both of us, our photography is more than a passion as the images we create are also direct reflections of our faith and worship of the wonders that GOD created. When alone in the wilderness we feel Him leading us to little moments He has created for us to see His glory so that we might be able to capture them as photographs to share with you to see and marvel at His creation with us. In our individual galleries you will find a variety of images collected and created in Colorado, Wyoming, Arizona, Utah, and soon New Mexico, Eastern California and Montana.

It was Ansel Adams who said., "My approach to photography is based on my belief in the vigor and values of the world of nature, in aspects of grandeur and minutiae all about us. I believe in growing things, and in the things that have grown and died magnificently. I believe in people, in the simpler aspects of human life, and in the relation of man to nature. I believe man must be free, both in spirit and society, that he must build strength into himself, affirming the enormous beauty of the world and acquiring the confidence to see and to express his vision. And I believe in photography as one means of expressing this affirmation and of achieving ultimate happiness and faith."
